Knowing God

Knowing God.

There´s a book written by Henry T. Blackaby & Claude V.King in 1994. It teaches and witnesses about the personal experiences of “Knowing God” the authors experienced in connection to the Bible. I love it! (I keep on reading it. It has too much info to dig in 183 pages).

Recently I have read about the testimony of people who have had Near Death Experiences (NDEs) and I believe most on them are real and I had some trouble to believe those deceases which were connected to a death longer than 3 days. While I was telling some Christian about the NDEs, God helped me to understand there is not such a problem to make a miracle, because –to be dead- the spirit has to have left our body, and it doesn´t matter how long it´s been separated from the material corpse, the miracle is the same. If I die for a minute the miracle to bring back my spirit is the same and of course! It´s important to consider the additional power He uses to build and reconstruct a body to its original form: Same state as Lazarus was (John 11:17-44). Jesus is the power of life and the resurrection!

Ancient Jews –because of their Scripture- believed there´s a moment when dead will be risen and judged according to their deeds. Clinical cases of NDEs revealed some unbelievers there´s something bigger in the Bible we can´t easily grasp by simple livid religious reading, but just by vivid experience and I do believe Mr. Ian McCormack was dead for about 15-20 minutes and he had what he wanted to know about God, because he was reared -from childhood- as Christian without a personal conviction and conversion (www.aglimpseofeternity.org). I believe God uses Him now for a purpose and within reason and God´s witness serves to help us understand He is much more bigger and multidimensional than ancient biblical writers could have helped us understand His truth.

Recent revelation proves God is still at work FOR US. Self exposure tell us He is concern of our shortcomings and the book of “Knowing God” helps understand how God may draw us to follow Him to work on His fields (as Ian McCormack and many others do).

Regarding the physical dead of Ian McCormack, there were people witnessing that at the hospital in Mauritius, but What If it said that someone spent a full day or -a week- dead? Is it more difficult to bring back the spirit into ashes of a cremated? Nowadays, most of those corpses are opened and checked with surgery to figure out what was the reason to die. Sometimes certain vital organs are removed and taken out to donations or medical studies so, If God gives the spirit back to such corpses He has to fix or create a missing organ. Jesus Christ –who was dead and came alive- had certain organs damaged when a spear tore His side, that day of the crucifixion. Did God fix the biologic problem before bringing His Spirit back? Of course! And He (Jesus) was able to show the cicatrix and the scars on His hands to his disciples. My ex-wife told me how God healed her father when doctors said he has no hope to live more then a week and he spent 3 more years on the earth, time enough he might know about Jesus, to repent and convert, because God directed her daughter to fast and pray 3 full days to bring life back into a body doctors could not heal and gave up home. My ex-wife told me about “a heavenly dream” her father had by the moment he was close to die. The things he saw are similar to those seen by those who have had Near Dead Experiences and I witness that he didn´t know how to read. I testify he never knew about Dr. Kent´s studies, books or movies (ww.finalfrontier.org.uk), because he knew nothing about English and we lacked (at home) this technology: He finally died around 1996.

Jesus knew (knows) certain tricky things Satan uses to do to get some attention and get people confused in their opinions. Demons use certain powers to make believe people they are unlimited empowered and they use dead bodies (those “living” lacking the seal of the Holy Spirit) to draw attention to Satan´s issues and to experiment the ability to “enjoy” part of our physical human nature. At the moment of the Resurrection Jesus -knowing much more than these things- asked the disciples some food to prove He was He alive!, anew!”. Counteroffensively, Satan uses “living” people to manifest his LIMITED power, like the girl who was able to say certain “prophetic” things about Paul and Silas (Acts 16:16-19).

The kingdom of Satan uses bodies of animals and the appearance of humans to talk and entice those he is tempting to commits sins, while attracting people to believe his lies. Biblically, we can mention that boy a demon used to throw into the fire and into the water, but there are thousands of cases Christians ought to register on records to let us know who is the ruling Lord and who is faithfully in charge of our final destiny. Satan uses emptied bodies; he never cares for human needs. He never provides for the economy of basic essentials and certainly that demon-possessed boy had emotional and physical scars he couldn´t do without, but Jesus casted out the evil spirits who terrified the child´s parents with cries and convulsions (Mathew 17:15-21).

Do demons exist today? Are they really hidden from public eyes? Yes! And are very well introduced in movies, very well-dressed for dinners as vamp parties or shown as myths taken to remind “passed” history “And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14).

1. Do the people realize how much Satan controls their minds (and life) by what they´re watching on TV movies, seen on the Internet? Watch Disney´s movies and see how they make Magic (...Waverly Place) and Homosexualism popular accepted.

2. Why do people easily believe artistic lies rather than plain truth?

I like the book “Knowing God” because is simple and shows how they started to learn and believe the way God wanted to be known by them. “The Final Frontier”, for example, shows how Dr. Kent (and others) started to believe what he was spiritually blind to see and understand and the accumulation of these clinical facts made him to believe –wholeheartedly- that God is real and is concerned for all human final destiny.

Ian McCormack has translated his testimony in a bunch of languages. Just click on the link (www.aglimpseofeternity.org) and read what might be easy for you. If you like movies, there´s a version of his testimony on (www.finalfrontier.org.uk), but I recommend you to read the full books and testimonies first, because the movies are adapted versions of the original testimonies. These books, tied to Bible reading, may serve you to develop a relationship to God. If you lack this thing, you are wasting your time and you´ll agree by the moment when you come to know God the way some writers, pastors, deacons, etc. did and have testified up to the moment you will surrender into His hands and walk obediently into His kingdom.

May God bless all who want to see His truth.

One day is coming when many true believers will start to write their testimonies related to God´s mighty deeds.
